Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the online order and the tree lots around town?

Raise the Tree originated as a Christmas Tree door delivery service. Today, you can choose from either the convenience of delivery to your door step, or the fun family experience of choosing your tree. Our mission is creating unforgettable memories. Also, as of 2019, we run pop-up fundraisers for non-profit organizations. If your school or organization is looking for a fun, memorable way to have a wintertime fundraiser, please contact us!

When and where would I expect my tree to be delivered?

Pre-ordered trees before November 15 will be picked up from North Carolina and delivered the weekend of or the week after Thanksgiving.  Trees will be brought to the most accessible entrance unless delivery instructions are otherwise provided. Trees are freshly cut 1/2 inch at the time of delivery. If you are unable to be home when tree is delivered, we suggest leaving out a 5 gallon bucket to keep the tree watered, or give the tree a fresh cut if it has been sitting out for longer than 1 hour.

Are trees refundable?

Trees are non-refundable. The Fraser Firs we select are grade-1, beautiful Christmas trees. While nothing is perfect in this world, these trees are some of the best you will find in East Tennessee.

If you delivered a tree that I still don’t like, can I exchange my tree?

If for some reason you are unsatisfied with your tree selection, you may request to exchange it for any tree that we have still in stock. Delivery is not provided for any exchange.

Where do you buy the trees from?

We partner with a nursery in the hills of North Carolina, the Fraser Fir capital of the country.
